Chaps got his Yellow Pages check in the mail today!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Yellow Pages paying Chaps a thousand dollars lovers! Ahhhhhhhh……..I love the color Yellow! Just like the puddles that glisten at HOP – this check will shine just as bright! OK – my waxing poetic is lame! But not this check. It was so funny. When I opened it, I screamed to my Mom, “I got a check for 1000 dollars! Why?” She looked at me so funny and said, “That is Chaps’s check!” I had totally not put 2 and 2 together! LOL I thought someone out of the blue was sending me a check! LOL
My goodness, this check is well needed at our dear HOP! It is only because all of the Mayor’s residents voted for him day in and day out that he won! Thank you dear residents!

I think the Mayor would have been much more interested if you had put a donut on the rug than just a plain old check.
Hannah was playing Basset Hound Town this afternoon. Emma, Maxine and Lily were at the doggy beauty shop getting beautiful. I asked her what Chaps was doing under the piano. She said he was looking for food, because that’s all Chaps thinks about is food! Then we pulled up the Mayor’s message and he was at the donut shop! Proved her point. 🙂
OneMom got it! How much fun! Chaps did it for HOP and he and I are thrilled to send the check. Good things happen for good hounds!

Marilyn – Chaps did it for the HoPpers! He love old girls and guys just like you. He would have never won without the support of all of his residents. It really had nothing to do with Mommy at all. Oh, well, I guess I know how to use the puter! LOL!
