Paul is still at the pound…….
Howllo Fellow Basset Hounds and Paul update lovers……
Well, the poor guy is still at the pound. The owner knows he is there and did not come to get him yesterday. The gal I talked to said there is no rhyme or reason as to who or who won’t pick up their dog. She said that she has taken many a call from someone in shear panic, saying they will be right over and they never show up.
We will have no idea until Monday night when be becomes ward of the pulling rescue. The owner has until 5:00pm Monday night to claim our Paul.
I am going to go visit him today. That’s the least he deserves. Grandma has a toy for him and I have some treats. It’s a nice day so I will take him for a long walk, or if he does not want to walk too much, I will take him for a long belly rub.

Cat, You are the best, please give that boy a hug for me. I just do not understand some people, I would have been banging on the Pound’s door in the middle of the night if my Baby was in there.I got an E Mail back from Outlaw Basset Rescue and she seems very nice. Love Ken

What on earth is the matter with people?! I would have been camping outside the front door after hours to wait for my lost pupcake!! Heck, I’m frantic if I can’t find one (cat’s too!) because he or she is hiding somewhere;) With that kind of owner attention, I hope Paul goes to the fabulous rescue you have discovered in your own “backyard”!!
