Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Talking Book Lovers: Where were you in 1972 when this album was released?
I was a sophomore in high school and probably danced for miles to this song, not to mention driving for miles to this song. Love, love, love it.
Have a nice Tuesday everyone and I hope you have some fond memories…..
More songs later…..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
I was in the 6th grade so don’t really remember that song. Have a great Tuesday! YES!
6th grade here as well. I don’t remember the song from that time, and I don’t recall even hearing it on oldies stations. My mom worked in a music store and I use to spend a lot of time there as a kid, but that album cover is not registering in my brain.
How is Emma today after her tumble out the doggy door?
OK gal pals! Now I feel old. LOL – Actually I have an older sister that dated a guy who was musically obsessed. He introduced me to music and was a major influence in what I listened to. His family was fairly well off and they had a massive stereo room in their home. It was like a studio. We would listen to music for hours.
When I went away to college he helped me pick out my system and it was top of the line. I had saved every penny for it. Those were the days of good music. Oh how the turn tables of time fly by.
Good Times
Kerry – Emma is doing much better this morning. It is so hard to watch her every move. She is a strong girl and that 11 pounds she lost is doing great by her.
Cat
I was 2!! :o)
LOL Melynda!
Do you like the song?
Cat
When are you going to profile Donna Summers and “Turn the Beat Around”? You danced for days to that !!!!
xoxoxo,
