Chaps has a down the middle part!?!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and how does your hair part lovers?
I find this very odd. Chaps has a part in his fur. His fur perfectly parts down the middle of his neck. It is deep as well. The Mayor has very thick hair.
When we get up in the morning, I go back to the office and open the door so Emma can go out without going out the dog door. I am dreading my electric bill this summer with the AC cranking. Anyway, I am so busy in the morning that I cannot watch her every move and I open the door for her.
So I walked back to check on the kids and I saw this sight. Chaps enjoying his morning with his perfect down the middle part! Is that not the cutest thing? He is such a natural!

Our Monty has two perfectly round swirly bits just beneath his tail. We call him swirly-bum.

Maybe Chaps goes to a salon in Basset Hound Town, while you’re not watching. I think Chaps would go to a stylist not a barber.
