OK – I got caught in the vortex of YouTube this morning..

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and YouTube lovers: Have you ever been caught in a YouTube Vortex? You know the one, where you get sucked in and before you know it, the actual plans you had for the morning were now pushed to afternoon. I will try to save you that fate by placing a few of the best ones on my blog for you so you can still take a shower and eat breakfast.

These pups sure have the chow line figured out. This video is from a breeder in Hungary. How fitting is that?

The name of the kennel is called, UNDER THE SPELL OF KENNEL . They are show breeders and their site is nice. Just another example of how I get sucked in.

Get your breakfast and join in!

More chow lines later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

    Hi Cat,

You were too late to save me. I went into the vortex once I watched the sisters taking a walk. It is fun to be pulled off – once in a while. I didn’t follow the trail to find out about the kennel in Hungary though.

Adorable! They look like tiny full grown bassets! They don’t look like puppies at all! Oh and guess who’s a foster mommy this summer? mee :D. I’m fostering a Rough Collie for my local Collie & Sheltie rescue this summer. I get her this week. My mom said if I prove that I can take care of a big long haired dog for a few months then she will let me get a dog of my own (as long as it doesnt have a houndy smell). So she told me to choose a breed that isn’t in the hound group (lol that sucks) and do my research on it for a few months. The colie that I am going to foster has been in the rescue for a while. The lady who cordinates the rescue sounded like she had given up all hope on having her dogs adopted. “People just don’t like to adopt collies, shelties get adopted pretty fast, but not my collies” she has 16 dogs at her house right now. She said she had no luck getting any adopted with bringing them to petsmart and events such as the local barktober fest. She stopped taking them to events to get her name out. So the least I can do is try to get Jazz adopted (the one I will be fostering). Here is her petfinder page…

If you could get the word out about Jazz that would be great! Adoptions are limitd to the Florida panhandle area. I think she adopts all the way to Jacksonville. She is being treated for heartworms right now but she can be “fostered to adopt” where the person wanting her can foster her while the rescue cordinater pays for the heartworm treatment. Once she is treated they can then adopt her.

I can’t believe how well-behaved they are, there is no nudging and climbing over the bowls to get something extra.
