Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Birthday Lovers: I am 52 years old today, 6-15-09!
OMG, OMG, OMG! It just seem so surreal that 52 years ago I looked like this! This picture was taken at one day old.
Look how beautiful my Mommy is!
I think the cutest thing is how she put that little point on my head! I love that. To this day I pull all of my hair up on top of my head. LOL
I also hold my left hand to my face like that when I am thinking or resting. Is that too funny? Instead of the baby bracelet (which I still have, of course) I wear the HOP support bracelet. I put it on years ago and I have never been without it.
Who knew that a little baby like me would grow up to love basset hounds so much? I just find that a blessing. A pretty little baby blessing.
I love my life. Thank you Mom and Dad. My journey through my life is like winning the best lottery ticket ever. The ticket of life! Sweet!

Your Mom is so very pretty in that picture and so are you! It’s so funny cuz my Mom used to do that with my sisters hair too. She always made it stick up in the middle. I always thought it was so silly looking but I was 4 1/2 when she was born and everything was funny to me back then. Ha!
