Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Tail Feeling Great Lovers! Chaps is doing so wonderful this Sunday evening and I think tomorrow he will not need a pain pill. All systems are back to normal and the Mayor will be back on duty, reporting in late for work Monday Morning!
This just in from our Mayor……..
“Howdy Partner!”
“I think I will milk the tail surgery so I can come in late tomorrow for work. Can I delegate someone else to get the Monday morning treats? I suggest McDonalds Sausage McGriddles! You might want to get me 2 with extra hash browns!”
“It will make my tail feel better! See ya when I get there! Hold my calls! Keep the Griddle warm!”

So glad you are feeling better Mr. Mayor. Your stand-in mayor did an excellent job while you were out. I’m sure Miss Emma would be glad to keep her paw on the throttle if you need a few more days to rest.
By the way Mr. Mayor … if you eat TWO of those griddle sandwiches, that will be 840 calories! Don’t know what the hashbrowns would add to that!
OM – LOL! Chaps could eat 10 if I would let him but we just pretend he gets even one! hehehe
I say you milk it and sleep in late and lounge around all day with Mommy. I’m sure you have plenty of sick time! Oh, and be sure to let Mommy know that you need more treats because the treats is what helps the tail to heal!
