How To Make Buttermilk or Butter
I am about to reveal to you an ANCIENT butter making secret, to make butter it requires,
shaking, shaking, shaking, MORE shaking, lots of shaking, but the end result is FANTASTIC. Homemade butter can be fun to make (if you are a butter enthusiast). And clean-up is very easy, you only need a few things
Materials:
Whipping cream (Can be normal or heavy whipping cream)
1 Jar
1 measuring device (not necassarily needed)
Fresh strong arms, able to withstand alot of shaking
the whole process takes about… 10-20 minutes, the majority of the time is shaking.
More shaking later…..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
That’s wonderful news for Buttermilk, but I thought you would need a churn to make butter.
When I was a kid, I was using the handheld mixer to make whipped cream. I ran the mixer too long and remember my brother fussing because I made butter and he didn’t have whipped cream for his apple pie!
Heavy cream is best, and it is easier to use a mixer/blender/food processor. There are also small butter churns you can use that are still easier than the shaking.
But then you can’t dance to the song and work off the butter you are about to eat! hehehe
But you don’t get all that exercise for those upper arm flabbies if you don’t SHAKE! Ha! I’M SO EXCITED ABOUT BUTTERMILK! I knew it would all work out. I just knew it. Can’t wait for the pictures, videos, newspaper articles and movie to follow! Well, maybe I’m a little too excited? Hahahahahaha

I am truly amazed and intently following this story… I just never realized that there are so many loving and good people out there … We have never heard of this kind of rescue happening before — I am from Sudbury Ontario and I am pretty sure this kind of event has not happened here — I guess it’s the POWER OF THE BASSET LOVER — by the way we have a 14 month old Basset girl — we are hooked!!!! Thanks guys you make our hearts tingle.
