We are off to visit with Big Joey:)
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and off to see BIG JOEY lovers: I was just sitting here doing my Map Quest and getting ready to go see our homeless, larger than life, hound in Williamstown, KY Pound.
Here is the Map:
Big Joey is in the Grant County pound which is about 45 minutes away. They seem very rescue friendly. I am going to report back to Suzanne Fitch of Mid-Atlantic Basset Hound Rescue in New Jersey about the big guy. Suzanne has pulled Big Joey. You can read more about that in the blog posting right below.
The Grand County Pound is not open today because they are holding an adoption fair at the Lexington, KY horse park. That is a really fun place to visit if you ever are in the Bluegrass state.
I am sure you might have guessed how Chaps feels about Mommy leaving him today….
He is a bit down in his cups, but he knows that it is the right thing to do.
More news about Big Joey later…..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
Good boy Chaps for sharing your mommy and grandma with Big Joey today. Poor guy has been locked up for a long time and your mom and grandma will be just what he needs to brighten his day.
Chaps has those worry wrinkles above his eyebrows. How precious. You are definitely getting the “don’t leave me Mommy” look. Poor puppy. Can’t wait for the pics of Big Joey!
exactly how big is “big joey?” he looks hmmmmm huge!
gotta watch out for that suzanne!!!!! she sneaks up on you and before you know it you’ve got a demon beast like buster in yer house!
Cat – you are like Chap’s Secretary of State, spreading good will to all bassets and basset lovers. What a great job.
Lois – Big Joey is a bit round but he is on a diet. He looked a bit more svelte today! hehe
Thank you Candace – We do our best for the Mayor. He cracks the whip! Slurp!
I know Chaps doesn’t like to share you, Emma, Grandma or Gramdpa, but he seems to be working on getting a better tolerance and attitude about such things. I do feel he has a sense, that because he shares so much of himself, no one is entitled to any more!
