Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Senior Hounds Abound Calendar Contest Voters! Don’t forget that our Mayor is in the running for his picture to be featured for a month! So far he is looking good but we only have 2 more days to vote. Things get a bit frantic in the final hours! OMG!

I am hoping that he gets to be the October boy! However, I just learned that the top vote winners get to pick their own months. I really want him to be October, the month of his dear birth! He is going to be 9 on 10-17-09! Our Mayor is the best Mayor ever! So, can you donate a few bucks to a really great retirement home for Sr. basset hounds? This is their major fund raiser of the year. Also, this calendar could be your major holiday gift of the year! I buy them for all of my family. Easy to ship and tax deducible! You really cannot go wrong!

Yea!!! I was so worried about the Mayor last week cuz he was tied with about 3 other dogs and in 14th place! That wasn’t good. Ok everybody, lets give Chaps 10 votes a piece. That’ll get him up a little further. I gave 25 votes in the beginning because I want Chaps to be in the calendar but it also feels so very good to help out the seniors. Wendie and the Bounders appreciate every single vote! Now, get out and vote!!!
Cindy – thank you so much. The Mayor really wants to be in the calendar and he usually gets what he wants. He is not above bribing his followers or trading favors for votes. He will let anyone rub his belly for any amount of votes. He will even give away Emma’s lunch treat for votes. hehehe

Oh no he doesn’t. I’m going to tell Emma to guard those treats! I’m going to try to remember to check him out tomorrow and see how he’s doing. I sure hope he gets in the calendar this year. I can’t believe he didn’t get in it last year! His town needs to support him!

Is there some place that lists them in current vote order?
Waaaaay too close for comfort. The Mayor is in 9th place at the moment. But…hounds in 10th, 11th and 12th place can very easily wipe him out and he won’t even be in the calendar at all! He’s 5 points ahead of 10th, 18 points ahead of 11th and 24 points ahead of 12th. I sure hope we can get him a little more cushion here!

I went in there and put all the dogs names in excel with their votes and sorted. There’s no place that I know of where they have them in order. They are in alpha order in the website.

OMG! CINDY! Thank you so much for pulling that together. I am very, very impressed. I see where this morning the Mayor has 153 votes. This is going to come down to the wire. Wendy told me that today the votes come in fast and furious. The Mayor is currently taking a stress nap.

Poor Mayor! I hate it that I may have added to his stress. I sure wish more people in our town would see this and vote. I wonder how up to date the votes are? If it’s real time or not? I sure hope he gets in the calendar this year. Even if it’s not October maybe it’ll be a month with another meaningful event.

The Mayor is in 13th place!!! This is what I was scared of. Dangit! I’m going to give $37 more to get him up to 200 point and in 12th place so that he may be able to get in to the calendar. Is there any last minute people out there willing to help?! Poor Mayor!!!
