It’s the weekend! YEAH! I have to work all weekend! BOO!

I have to work all weekend and I am none to thrilled. So be it. Anyway, I am trying to get jazzed about one of my jobs……….
Raking the leaves, with the help of Emmas, of course, and…….
Putting away and covering the outdoor furniture………..
Plus pulling all of the dead flowers which bit the dust with a hard frost the other night…..
Chaps will be a big help as well……
If you look at his tail closely you can see where it still looks shaved from when he had that cyst removed. I wonder if it will ever grow back? Some of his cute little tail hairs came in, but not many! I fear he will never be a tail model!
So, I am trying to psych myself up for the tasks at hand and paw.

Oh comon now…at least it’s not REAL work! Think of all the excercise you’ll be getting. And think of the rewards you’ll get when you look back and see your accomplishments and how pretty your yard is. Make it fun. Enjoy the pretty day and the sunshine. Get your radio out and turn it to your favorite radio station or play your favorite CD. Don’t worry about cooking or anything and plan on treating yourself out or have a pizza delivered. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
I know, Oh poor pitiful me, me, me! It is going to be an absolutely beautiful day tomorrow. Now I am looking forward to it because of, guess what?

I’m going to be cleaning doggie beds. I strip their sheets and bedding to wash then put the doggie beds out to, hopefully, air out. I say “hopefully” cuz some hound usually decides they want to lay in the sun out in the yard and of course the doggie bed looks really comfy out there. And after all, it does belong to the doggies. I never get on to them for laying on them when they’re outside. They’ll air out eventually. My doggies just loooove clean bedding! They’ll let me sleep in a little longer Sunday morning.
Perhaps a tail toupee would be something Chaps would like to look into, but he is still handsome and sooo suave no matter what.
Watch out for blisters. That is the one chore I do not like, raking. Chaps, that still is a gorgeous tail!
