We all went to the vet today!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and going to the vet as a pack lovers! I took Chaps and Emma to the vet today for their monthly nail clip, deep ear clean and rear end check. Yes, basset hound rear ends get a bit clogged up from time to time. Those darn glands….
Anyway, I loaded everyone in the Basset Hauling Vehicle and off we went. I had to show you this picture because Grandpa is wearing the coolest jacket! See for yourselves!
I bought it for him years ago. It was when Ralph Lauren introduced the Chaps line again. Interestingly, that is how Chaps got his name. His breeder named all of the hounds after cologne. Chaps sister is named Diamond and Rubies.
Turns out Emma is allergic to cologne…..one of the many things. As an aside, her Dr. said that her skin looked really good today!
Yeah!

Going to the vet can be such an ordeal for Bassets and Basset Slaves, but Cat, you make it fun!
I love the jacket, but I think Chaps and Emma need designer clothes. Chaps is the rugged type so I would suggest Ralph Lauren or Tommy Hilfager, also I know that if Chaps couldn’t wear English Leather cologne he would wear nothing at all! For Our Emma, I think she would wear VanderBilt or Chic jeans, and her cologne would be My Sin!
