Jethro, Bassethoundtown resident up for Basset of the Week!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Jethro Lovers! I just learned from a bassethoundtown resident that our very own Jethro is up for basset of the week on the Daily Drool. It is such a cute contest that takes place every week on the Daily Drool!

Ok, I’m confused. It’s cool that he’s in this contest but I didn’t put him in there. Ha! What’s up with that?
Sorry Cindy, I couldn’t resist his costume. I sent it in to the Daily Drool saying that he owned the Doyle Family. I am sorry if I stepped on your toes.

I will have to think of something worthy of Jethro. I think he is doing his very very best to tolerate his clown costume.

Jethro would only do that for his Mommy. But when he sees me with something like a bandana or a hat or a costume that he knows I’m going to put on him he runs to me and just cries like he’s so excited. He likes the attention I think. He gets a little upset when I try to put his big paws in sleeves. But we get it done. He doesn’t mind hats at all. Jethro almost always looks mad. He’s got a bassetude that’s for sure.
Jethro has so much style, he sets the bar quite high for Bassets everywhere.
Jethro is a trend-setter and he is not afraid to take fashion risks (that’s part of his adventurous spirit). Jethro makes any and every outfit look daring, cool and sexy.
After the Daily Drool contest, I think he should be on the cover of GQ!
