The Mayor had to get up early today!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and going to school lovers! Well, Chaps is sure one of those. Chaps is going to read the Lily Book to a pre-school today. You would not believe how much this guy loves to go to school. But first, we better wash his face.

Every child needs a clean face for school! All spit shined and ready to go!

Then Mr. Larger than Life, helps Mommy sign a few books.

This particular school invites us every year around the holidays. We donate 5.00 from the sale of every book to their charity. Plus Emma sends extra copies of the Lily book for kids that might not be able to afford one. Emma is so thoughtful.

As soon as I open the door to the school Chaps gets so excited. His tail points to the sky and it looks like he is walking on a trampoline. He gets a bounce in his step that never happens unless he is in a school.

All I can say is that these are some really lucky kids today. They also better know how to duck. The Mayor can sling slobber all the way back to the chalk board! Mama is so proud!

More trampoline tours later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

There is no rest for Mayor Chaps. His education efforts are applauded and copied by many. Mayor Chaps sets a wonderful example about giving back to the community, and sweet Emma always puts a cherry on top.

Well said Maureen! I think that is the coolest thing for Chaps and Emma to be involved in. They are the best!

This is so cool! Can’t wait to hear all about his day and see photos (you should take Grandma so she can take photos)

Hi guys! Grandma is coming with us. She is such a huge help. Yesterday, Chaps got the full treatment with a warm sponge bath, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and lots of kisses on his cute face.

We wish we could do this every day! Poor Emma has to stay home with Grandpa. She is still in training and I hope to be taking her early next year to make the rounds.
