February is National Pet Dental Month!
Howllo Fellow Hound and Clean Hound tooth lovers! Ever hear the phrase,
“Clean as a hound’s tooth?”
Well, this is the month to make it come true! February is National Pet Dental Month and it might just be the added push to get your hounds in for a teeth cleaning. I personally dread it because I hate to have Chaps or Emma go under any anesthesia. However, it has to be done. I am taking both kids into the vet today for a nail trim and while we are there we will get our quotes for both dental cleanings.
Most vets are offering discounted cleaning for the month of February. Mine is offering a 15% discount, but I will try to get a better deal since I have two hounds.
My vet is also offering a free dental package with a few goodies in it like a tooth brush, dental cream for hounds, a chew toy and upkeep information.
I will update this blog with the quotes when I get home!

Crissy is also “celebrating” dental month. I’m sure she will not be pleased. Luckily I think we will escape with a cleaning only and no extractions.
