Close the door, we are not heating the entire neighborhood!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and heating the neighborhood lovers: Did your Mom or Dad ever say that to you? Well today I said it to the Mayor. Keep in mind that my feet are within reach of his rear end. Might I add, my freezing cold feet. Here is howl the Mayor stood for quite awhile today. All the while I kept saying, “Chaps, what are you doing?” He was half in and half out. He never does that.
Emma was even wondering what was going on. (Look at my cute shadow.)
“Chaps, in or out, my feet and Emma’s paws are freezing!”
The Mayor decided to back, back in.
The decision had been made. It was too cold to sprinkle.
“Mommy, I decided not to heat the entire neighborhood”!
Honeychild don’t you fret. Momma buy some warmer slippers.
More heating the neighborhood later…Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
Awww…Chaps needs not only some warm slippers but you should drag out his winter coat as well!
Cat,
You and Emma must realize that the Mayor needs to take his time and evaluate every situation before he renders his decision.
Cat, you will need these!:

Hi Mary! I love those slippers! I just e-mailed the company and asked them to tell me when they are back in stock. This will be my Christmas present from Grandma and Grandpa! Thank you so much!
Cat
Cool! Tristate Basset Rescue (or other rescues) may still sell them as well–I bought a pair at the picnic last summer–Harley promptly chewed off one of the ears;)
Mary
Mary that is so funny. Emma will think they are 2 toys. I will have to be careful! Since I work out of my home, I live in my slippers!
