Chaps and Emma want to show off their toys from his son’s family!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and showing off our toys lovers! If you recall, I left my camera at my sisters home. I was not able to showcase these toys from Chaps sons family until now. Grandma washed all of the kids toys yesterday and washing day is always so traumatic. Chaps can become despondent and even sick missing his favorite toy. But, we had a treat in store for him! His Christmas gifts from his son. It was perfect! He was excited by the gifts!
Emma was over whelmed with joy! She grabbed her new toy and headed for her bed!
Here she is getting into her comfort corner!
Life is good when you get a new toy covered in smell from Chaps son and his family!
Emma loves ginger bread! YES!
Mean while the Mayor is proud of his gift!
But wait! Check it out! The Mayor brings in the paper!
More breaking news later……we love toys! Cat, Chaps and Emma
What wonderful gifts, and it was so nice of Emma and Chaps to share them, and it his son is so thoughtful.
I really like the newspaper.
my husband and i have just recently discovered this wonderful website and our really enjoying it.we noticed in some of your pics of emma that she seems to be sqinting and then we realized that she has had surgery.we also had a lovely girl, miss penny, whom had an eye removed due to cancer.we miss our sweet girl daily and often reminisce about how she often would miss the last step or bump into the fridge when someone would open it.we are curious as to how emma manages with both eyes missing.thankyou, sara wright
Hi Sara
Thank you for your lovely comment. Yes, our Emma is blind from glaucoma. She started going blind at the young age of 2. Poor Emma was the victim of uneducated breeding. She has over come every odd that has been in her path. It is amazing how she uses her ears to sweep the floors and obstacles in her path. She is such a joy and a wonderful teacher. I learn from her every day.
Welcome to Basset hound town and stroll through every day!
Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
