I finally got my snow basset hound!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hounds made out of snow lovers….I had been trying to convince the little girls next door to do a snow basset hound for days to no avail. It was more fun to make snow Barbie doll forts and throw snow balls. What ev……
So, I was thrilled to run across this in my internet travels…..
These photos are form Dale Hansen (near Dallas Fort Worth) who is a also a Basset Hound lover.
“We built our snowbasset while the snow was still falling….only at 7 1/2 inches when we started but ended up with 12 inches. Couldn’t submit our photo sooner because our power was out and no computer access. We love basset hounds so could not build anything else !!!”
It would be so much cooler to live next door to these people. Just think, this snow basset versus a Barbie Doll fort. Don’t get me wrong. I played with Barbies!
Good job basset lovers!
More wondering if I will ever get a neighbor like this later……Cat, Chaps and Emma
Absolutely beautiful!!! I wish I was that talented!!!
I’m excited for you Cat! I LOVE IT!
Are these the same horrible children who throw rocks at Chaps? I wouldn’t even bother to talk to them. LOL.
That is one handsome snow hound. Are you expecting more snow today?
Candy
Wish I had done one!! Heck, I could have done 10 with the snow we got in PA… Love it!
Mary, Harley, Biggs and Leo
Candy – LOL! No they are different little girls. They actually live in the same 2 family as the heathen girls.
We got pounded with about 8 more inches. It is that really dusting type that you can sweep which is good.
In my wildest dreams I cannot imagine throwing a rock at a dog!
Cat
That is an excellent snow hound! I’m glad I didn’t try one, because you never would have been able to tell it was anything more than a lump of snow!
Good job Texas basset lovers!
Kerry – it was one year ago tonight that we met. When Stump won best in show! Love you!
Cat
Hi Cat – Where would we be without Stump and my Nell-Dog? Who knew a couple of old Sussex Spaniels would bring me to Basset Hound Town?! I will forever be grateful to Stump for coming out of retirement just for us.
Many hugs.
