Howl can we live without Henry?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Cousin Henry lovers.
For the past few days my older sister (Nin) and her son Henry have been staying with us. We have been so enjoying each others company.
Howl ever, Emma took visiting to an entire other level. She has not left Henry’s side and the sounds I have heard come from her around Henry are sounds I have never heard before. When he walked through the door she screamed and cried liked a girl at the airport when the Beatles arrived. I really thought she was going to faint.
Henry spent the most time with the kids right here. Emma never left his side. Chaps, on the other hand, followed me around…..worrying.
Emma is going to have some serious withdraw when her buddy goes back to GA.
More loving Henry later…..Cat, Chaps and Emma
Oh, Emma- she never plays hard to get around the boys. LOL
Oh Emma your such a Doll:) Henry is so lucky to be loved the way you do:)
Love you all!
That is too cute! I really doubt the kids could live without Henry. I’m so glad that you are spending time and enjoying your family.
It is clear that Emma sensed that Henry was not being appreciated or loved enough, I think Emma and Henry feel that he should stay with Emma for awhile until he feels confident, loved and in control.
Emma is such a sweetheart lovebug! I bet she was doing the full body wag along with the sound effects!
OMG – you should see Emma’s full body moves. She looks like spaghetti bowling in water.
I have to capture it on video the next time Henry comes.
She is amazing…..
Cat
To me, it seems like the females wiggle more. My Harriet wags her whole body when I get home. The boys are excited too but they just wag their tail and a few of them cry and jump up on me and one grabs a stuffed toy and runs around the house with it. They are just too funny aren’t they?
