Yesterday, 5-3-08 I received a message from Devon in CA about a poor little mangie basset hound in a KY pound. Devon wanted to know if I could help the little stinker.
Here is the e-mail she received:
Jimmy picked this dog up on the side of the road Tuesday. He said it was a sweet dog and he didn’t have the heart to put him down. He took
him to the vet and had him treated for sarcoptic mange. Our nights are cold, so I worry about him being in an outside pen.
He is in OSP 1 in Morehead KY at Rowan County Pound 606-784-4930.

I am so happy the little hound is safe. Basset people are the best and bassethoundtown is always there to help. Cat, you are truly an inspiration and I am so proud to call you my very dear friend.
