Loss of Colorado Basset Rescue past President
Hello fellow hound lovers: I just read this on the daily drool and I thought others that were not on the drool might like to take a moment and honor the memory of a very fine lady.
DROOL POSTING…..Colorado has lost one of the original Basset Rescue founders.
Theo Clarke, passed away, on January 3, 2007. She was Colorado Basset Rescue’s ( High Country Basset Hound Rescue) longest running president ( over 15 years) and defined the shape, activities and good will eminated by this Basset Rescue organization.
She took in, treated , and ulitmately loved every single Basset Hound she placed – to include the elderly, the unlovable, the unloved, the mistreated and gave each and every one a forever home. The Bassets were always her first priority
She was loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched – either by a houndie , or by her loving nature.
