Hellow Fellow Hound and five dollar bill lovers: Recently we received a five dollar bill for Lily’s basset bucks with the website, www.wheresgeorge.com printed on it. We thought it would be totally kewl to track it.
The donation was from Diane, Molly, Sam, and Roxie. They had read a blog posting where I suggested that you give up one star”bucks” and send us Lily”bucks” instead. Here is their donation!
So, what I am going to do is replace this five spot with one of my own and send this one on it’s way. I will make a note on it to PLEASE report it’s progress. I am hoping someone really philanthropic sees it and donates to Lily’s basset bucks this year. It could be really fun! I will make sure to track it and keep all of our residents posted.

Howllo Fellow Hound and Lily Basset Buck Lovers: I am thrilled and honored to open up the current mail we have received as of 7-31-07. All of Lily’s Basset Bucks will be divided equally on 6-15-08 (my 51st b-day) amongst the basset hound rescues that have signed up. These rescues must be approved, 501(c)(3) organizations that started because of basset hounds. All these organizations have to do is send me an e-mail to sign up. Easy Breezie! We all just want to help. I have an entire list of people that have sent money. They will be right below this Vlog. Thank you from the bottom of a basset’s belly. (and we all know how low that is!) Howllo Fellow Hound and Lily’s Basset Buck Lovers! Wow, it was a Basset Buck Bonanza today at the post office! I received 5 envelopes for Lily’s Basset Bucks. I also have one from a few days ago. Anyway, I am not going to open them yet. I am going to open them tomorrow night when I have time to make a Vlog and a splash!
Also, if you are a 501(c)(3) basset hound rescue you can sign up to receive Lily’s Basset Bucks on 6-15-08, my 51st birthday. Amazingly, only 10 rescues have signed up! I bet the 10 that did are totally jazzed. Well, approved basset rescues only have 16 more days to sign up and then I am closing Lily’s benevolent offer.

This is bassethoundtown.com’s first fundraiser. Well, of course we have done many fundraisers for other basset hound rescues, but this is our official first fund raiser. We are really excited about it. Will you send us a dollar? I really just wanted to make it fun and a no brainer. Just one dollar. You can find that in the back seat of your car! I did! LOL! On 6-15-08, my 51st birthday, I will divide all of the bucks in equal portions and give it to the rescues who signed up. I am not going to put these updates on any basset boards.
